SuperDévoluy - a dream of sunny, snowy slopes!
SuperDévoluy is located 92 km south-east of Grenoble and is easily reached via motorway and main roads. Furthermore, the resort now also has the "Famille Plus Montagne" certificate, which ensures family-friendliness and special offers for all ages. Two apartment buildings with large shopping arcades dominate the town centre, and numerous shops, cosy cafés, and bars invite you to stroll and linger. Speciality restaurants, with delectable foods and comfortable atmosphere, are worth checking out. Here, you will find the best way to let your active day on the pistes come to an adequate end. The new SuperDévoluy smart phone app offers access to lots of information, piste map, altitude calculator and games.
SkiThe "SuperDévoluy & La Joue du Loup" lift pass grants you access to 23 lifts and 100 kilometres of piste covering an altitude difference of over 1,000 metres. Several lifts start from SuperDévoluy, therefore waiting times are virtually unheard of.
The new lift "Pré Renard" is a further connection point between SuperDévoluy and La Joue du Loup and is the quickest way for snow park visitors to get back to the top again. With the help of a ski link you may explore the easy and average slopes towards La Joue du Loup. The waved terrain with sunny slopes, grand cliffs and fantastic deep powder snow descents offers a great deal of variety
More demanding is the region around the summit where you will find slopes with promising names as „Le Mur“ (The Wall). The 6-person high-speed chair lift "Le Sommarel" gives you access to the highest region of the ski area in no time.
Free riders will find, among other things, excellent possibilities on Combe Ratin or Tête de la Cluse. A real treat for snowboarders is the 10,000 m2 "Mushroom Park" at 2,000 m altitude with quarter pipe, big airs, tables and a boarder cross. The location and altitude of the slopes, as well as several snow-making systems, offer you a high snow reliability.
Attention parents! The ski area has been awarded the "Famille Plus Montagne" award, thanks to its exceptionally family-friendly services. For young children, 15 months or older, child-care services in either a daycare centre or ski kindergarten is offered. Parents can borrow bulky equipment, such as children's beds or baby buggies in resort. A toboggan run and a playground provide fun outside the piste.
In the afternoon, sun terraces and cafés invite you to relax and take in the surroundings. The fantastic, natural landscape is ideal for exploration on cross-country skis (approx. 35 km of trails) or by snowshoe hiking (approx. 30 km of trails).
Special attractions include paragliding and riding snowmobiles. The evenings in the resort can be spent socialising in several cosy pubs and bars, as well as the cinema. Discos await night owls, where you can party to your heart's content. However, if you prefer to let your evenings come to a cosier end, a traditional fondue or raclette dinner could be what you're looking for.
SuperDévoluy and La Joue du Loup have a common cross-country trail network spanning approx. 35 km. The region provides 80 km of prepared cross-country tracks with all levels of difficulty.
Plateau de Bourcherac, near SuperDévoluy, is the best area for beginners. The trails in La Joue du Loup, in Bois de Chagier, are also very attractive.
The longest is the "Traversée du Dévoluy", which is not only challenging due to its length, but can really only be recommended to well trained, experienced skiers! The 6 km long, high altitude trail "Le circuit du pré de renard" (1,850 m), on the other hand, is quite suitable for less experienced skiers.
