Location:
Hotel Le Mas De Chastelas is located on the Saint-Tropez Peninsula, in a 30,000 m2 garden.
It is a former 18th century mansion, decorated with artwork and paintings.

The hotel’s restaurant serves traditional dishes, which can be enjoyed in the dining room or near the area.
Le Mas De Chastelas also offers a free shuttle bus to Saint-Tropez and the beaches of Pampelonne. The hotel has electric car charging stations.
Mas de Chastelas was opened in 1967 and quickly became a legendary hotel in Saint-Tropez. It has hosted French artists, thinkers and actors: Claude Berri filmed Catherine Deneuve and Gérard Depardieu here in his film Je Vous Aime, and Serge Gainsbourg played the piano for Jane Birkin. Its current owner, Jérôme Pujos, likes to say that Mas is the most beautiful establishment in Saint-Tropez.
Mas (meaning "farms" in Provencal) is located on more than two hectares, overlooking the Bertaud Belieu vineyards. The heart of the hotel is the former 18th century country house of Mr. Bertaud.
This country property is a remarkable architectural gem in Gassin, one of the "most beautiful villages" in France.
It is one of the oldest hotels in Saint-Tropez, along with Byblos, Cheval Blanc and La Ponche.
Mas is a five-star unit and is listed in the Michelin Guide with a three-roof rating.
The hotel’s sloping grounds are a pleasure to explore. In addition to the main house, Italian-style villas have been built to offer new rooms and new views. A large heated court, tennis courts, a golf course and a gourmet restaurant ensure a refined stay in Saint-Tropez, either "for two" or as a family.

Room facilities:
All rooms have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, and some have a balcony or patio. Our rooms and apartments are among the largest on the peninsula.
As a house, each room is different: we offer standard and deluxe rooms, rooms with terrace, a Master suite, Junior Suite, Bastide Suite and two-bedroom apartments, a separate living room and terrace.
It offers 14 rooms and 9 suites.

Classic rooms
They are located on the second floor of the main house, very comfortable, offering a beautiful view of the pool or the park.
Designed for two guests, furnished with luxury bedding and bed linen.
Individually controlled air conditioning and heating, minibar, safe, direct dial telephone.

Deluxe rooms
They are located on the first and second floors of the main house.
These very comfortable rooms are extremely spacious (up to 35 sqm / 370 sq.ft). They face the pool or the Gulf of Saint-Tropez (sea view from the rooms on the second floor).

Standard rooms
With terrace it offers the unique comfort of a private outdoor space.
They are located in the main house (see photos 1 and 2), in Villa Toscana (modern Italian interiors - photos 3 and 4) and in Villa Palladian (photos 5 to 8). The individual terraces offer extra privacy and the chance to enjoy the sun from the comfort of your room.

The Master Suite
is located on the first floor of the main house.
It is the hotel owner's apartment, in the middle of the first floor corridor, and is the only room with a balcony.
The suite overlooks the pool and terrace.

Deluxe Room
with Terrace is located on the first floor of the main house. It is a corner room with two views.
A private terrace and a staircase leading to the pool make it one of the hotel’s most beautiful rooms.
This is the room where things warmed up between the characters of Catherine Deneuve and Gérard Depardieu in "Je vous aime"
Its outstanding private terrace faces the hills and west and has sun from 11 a.m. to evening. A private staircase (shared with the Bastide Suite) leads guests directly to the pool area.

Our Junior Suites
are on the second floor of the basement. All have a bedroom and a separate living room and a bathroom with a bath and shower. If you are traveling to Saint-Tropez with children or if you need more space to work or if you want to stay in the room while you are alone, these apartments are for you.

Bastide Apartment
This is the largest suite at Mas. It occupies half of the first floor of the main house.
The incredible Bastide Suite, with a width of 80 sqm, has a large foyer, a spacious seating area with private terrace and stairs leading directly to the pool area, a bedroom of 35 sqm (380 sqm), dressing room, large bathtub, then bathroom and a second full bathroom for your guests.
Designed for up to four people, furnished with a deluxe bed and bed linen in the bedroom. However, we do not accept bookings for four adults in a suite. Individually controlled air conditioning and heating, minibar, safe, direct dial telephone.
