Numerous green and blue pistes open up sheer endless opportunities to beginners and pleasure skiers. Since 2010 there resort is accredited with the "Famille Plus Montagne" seal, for special family friendliness. Courchevel 1650 however offers more challenging pistes and a rather exciting après-ski and night life for fairly moderate prices. If you are looking for absolute luxury, party and fun, then you should choose to stay in the high-class part of Courchevel 1850. Especially this part of Courchevel has given the resort its nickname "St. Tropez of winter sports".
SkiWith the lift pass "Courchevel" you have access to 150 km of diverse pistes. Numerous green and blue pistes offer beginners a wonderful chance to try out and get to love skiing. The pistes and lessons are to be found rather in the lower and more forested areas, which offers protection against wind and snow. But also the more advanced and free riders will find perfect conditions higher up the mountain: The red and black pistes offer many opportunities for fun and diversity. For a real kick of adrenaline we recommend the run down steep mountain side at the Saulire. Furthermore Courchevel offers a special treat for free stylers with its "Woodpark", located at the Plantrey chair lift.
For pros and experts we recommend the upgrade to the "Les 3 Vallées" lift pass (see ski region).
In the tourist office, as well as in many mountain railway stations, you have access to wifi hotspots.
While you can spend a rather quiet form après-ski in many bars and restaurants in Courchevel 1550, further up the mountain, in Courchevel 1650 and 1850, night owls and other party animals will find what they are looking for. The fantastic choice of bars and clubs leaves no wish unfulfilled. Partying and dancing is possible until way into the early morning hours.
