Middle Ages. The choir, whose construction was completed in 1272, was much higher by 5 meters than the cathedral in Amiens, but only for a short time, collapsing in 1284. Its replacement was made 300 years later, with funds obtained from the famous "indulgent",
a right received by the local bishop from Pope Leo X.
