Blois city, capital of Loir-et-Cher department is located on the banks of the Loire in central France. Blois is located in the center of a rich agricultural area but is also well known for electrical and leather industry.
Blois was Romanian settlement (Blesum) and Blaisois capital of the Middle Ages. In 1397 under the supervision of Louis of Orleans and became a royal residence. During the reigns of Louis XII and Francis I played a similar role of Versailles during the reign
