A striking château in the heart of Alsace wine country, surrounded by vineyards with far-reaching views towards the Black Forest, Château d’Isenbourg is a renowned gastronomic gem on the Alsatian wine route. French country elegance fills every room. The atmosphere is peaceful with lots of floral décor and classic furnishings in the guestrooms. Outside, the pretty gardens form a floral oasis with views over the historic town of Rouffach. In contrast to the rustic charm of the nearby towns and villages, the Château d'Isenbourg is a majestic residence. There are 41 guestrooms richly furnished and decorated, superb facilities for relaxation and two dining rooms promising an indulgence level worthy of the confessional! Where there is fine wine, there is fine cuisine and at Château d'Isenbourg you will find both aplenty. At the Tommeries, you will have access to two restaurant dining rooms with very definite characters. The "Salle panoramique" is largely open onto the terrace and the Clos d'Isenbourg vineyards with the old town in the distance. In a Louis XV style, its crystal chandeliers, beautiful stone flooring and panoramic view give it great elegance. Next door, the "Salle Dagobert", a very high vaulted room dating from the 12th century, charms with its authenticity and Louis XIII décor. Relax and enjoy a gourmet chocolate back massage in the tranquil spa or try a more conventional Thai-inspired treatment. The Traditional rooms can be found in a wing of the Château and offer a view over the park and vineyard or on the ground floor opening onto a small private terrace. They have a double bed and a bathroom with a separate toilet. They have air-conditioning on request, Wi-Fi internet access, mini-bar, hair-dryer, and a flat-screen television.
