Take a break in the numerous cellars of Touraine (whites from Vouvray or Montlouis, and reds from Chinon, Bourgueil or Saint Nicolas). Stop off at some of the small and unusual villages: Candes St Martin, Crissay-sur-Manse, Chédigny... Take to the air in a hot-air balloon.
